Tomb of the Vibrans family

The grave of the Vibrans family is located in the Calvörde cemetery on Velsdorfer Straße and is a listed building .

History and architecture

This memorial is of particular importance for the home and local history of the Calvörder. The monument is to the right of the main entrance and is surrounded by large, old oak trees. The Vibrans family provided the mayor of the municipality of Calvörde for several centuries . The tomb consists of three grave slabs and a stele with a vase crown. The grave slabs belong to the Vibrans family, dated: † 1790, † 1806 and † 1899. The stele was dedicated to Elisabeth Böwingen from Vorsfelde († 1790).
