Dale & Grace were an American singing duo.

history

The duo was formed in Baton Rouge in 1963 . They had their greatest success in the US charts in 1963 with the song I'm Leaving It Up to You , reaching number 1 and number 42 in the UK charts. The title, written by Don Harris and Dewey Terry Jr., was by published by the authors as Don & Dewey in 1956. Sam Montel produced the new recording of the song and released it on his label Montel Records nationwide and previously regionally on his sub-label Michele Records .

With Stop and Think It Over they reached number 8 in the US charts in 1964. During a tour in 1964, Dale and Grace ended their collaboration. Although Montel still recorded individual tracks in which the voice of Dale was mixed in with a recording of Grace, there were no further successes. Neither of them had any success with their solo recordings for Montel Records.

Dale Houston died on September 29, 2007; Grace Broussard performed with various music groups until 2007.
