The Grand Prix is a stackable plywood chair that the Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen designed in 1957 and presented at the spring exhibition of Danish handicrafts at the Kunstindustrimuseet in Copenhagen .

Originally referred to as the 3130 model, the chair got the new name after winning the “Grand Prix” at the XI. Triennale di Milano 1957 won. Initially, the chair was available with both wooden legs and a metal substructure. The surface of the seat shell is glazed , varnished or fully or partially covered with fabrics or leather. The chair is 50 cm wide, 52 cm deep and with a seat height of 44 cm a total of 78 cm high.
