Greek Historical Evangelical Archive

The Greek Historical Evangelical Archive ( Greek Ελληνικό Ιστορικό Ευαγγελικό Αρχείο Elliniko Istoriko Evangeliko Archio , Ε.Ι.Ε.Α.) was founded in 2008.

The tasks of the archive are:

  • To collect and acquire media related to Protestantism and Greece ( Greek Evangelical Church ) and the Greek Evangelical Congregations abroad.
  • Classification and storage of archival material according to international archival principles.
  • Publication of archive material for science by organizing conferences, presentations and publications by the in-house publishing house (έκδοσης του Ε.Ι.Ε.Α.).

So far 2,500 books have been acquired, as well as publications in which Protestantism is mentioned positively or negatively. Materials from the First Greek Evangelical Church , the Greek Evangelical Church of Volos (ΕΕΕ Βόλου), from the Kyriakakis archive (αρχείο Κυριακάκη), from the Longinidi archive (αρχείο Λογύγινίδη), the Stenos archive (αρχεείios), the Stenos archive (αρχείios), and the Stenos archive (αρίείios) have been brought together Toxos (αρχείο Ουράνιου Τόξου), as well as many photographs.
