The Chamber of Grisemosehøj
The Grisemosehøj megalithic bed

The dolmen Grisemosehøj is located in Ferritslev in Rolfsted Sogn on the island of Funen in Denmark . It is located on a meadow between houses on a slope and next to a stream in a 30 × 13 m large bed of stones . The prehistoric monument is a megalithic complex of the funnel beaker culture (TBK), which was built between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC originated.

More than 20 edging curbs, some of which are of considerable size, have been preserved. The facility narrowly escaped destruction because two large stones were blown up but not removed. Grisemosehøj was one of the megalithic complexes placed under protection from 1807 to 1811, i.e. very early on . The chamber, which probably belongs to the polygonal pole type , has a large capstone and four preserved bearing stones, one of which is very sloping and at least one is missing. Access is also not available.
