Large lighting device

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The large-scale lighting device is a resource of the lighting department (type B) of the THW . It is used for large-scale and largely shadow-free illumination of emergency areas, so that rescue and rescue work can also be carried out in the dark without any problems.

The large-scale lighting device usually consists of several high-performance lamps that illuminate a lighting balloon. This makes it possible to illuminate an incident area of around 100 meters × 100 meters as bright as day and without glare. The freedom from shadows is achieved by a height of the lighting element of at least 15 m (light point). Large-scale lighting devices in the form of light masts and mirror reflectors are currently under development .
