Great stone country
Gro Steinsland (* 1945) is a Norwegian religious scholar and historian and Scandinavian medievalist . She is a professor at the Institute for Linguistics and Nordic Studies at the University of Oslo .
The main research and teaching focus of Steinsland is the pre-Christian, pagan North Germanic religion and Edda research .
