Coarse cut (tobacco)

Coarse cut is a term for a certain quality group of tobacco , which is derived from the cut size. Coarse cut is usually used from a cutting width of 3 to 3.5 mm.

The coarse cut is smoked in a tobacco pipe with a large head. In contrast, the fine cut is used to roll cigarettes or smoke in a pipe with a small head.
