Groen Vrij Internet Partij

The Groen Vrij Internet Partij (Groen Vrij !, Green Free Internet Party) was a Dutch party.

history

The party of Wernard Bruining, the operator of the first was founded in coffee shops . The main items on the agenda were the full legalization of cannabis and the introduction of an internet democracy. The party ran with Bruining as the top candidate in the parliamentary elections of 2006 in 8 of the 19 constituencies, but could not move into the Dutch lower house with 2,297 votes (0.0%) . In mid-2007, Bruining announced that he no longer wanted to continue his party, and shortly afterwards the party's website went offline.

Party platform

Great Vrij! started with the claim to have its members set the views of the parliamentary group via the Internet. Furthermore, every European should legally be allowed to grow ten hemp plants . The party spoke out in favor of expanding the expressways, public transport and environmentally friendly fuels should be promoted. An obligation to rehabilitate was envisaged for recidivists. According to Groen Vrij! hired and paid well by the state.
