The Grotta di Pozzuoli (also Crypta Neapolitana ) is a tunnel in the city of Naples .

The tunnel was built by the Romans in the 1st century BC. Built in BC, it runs under the Posillipo hill and connects the Fuorigrotta district with the parts of the city on the western side of the Posillipo. It is 705 meters long, mostly about 4 meters high and wide. It was presumably built by Lucius Cocceius Auctus .
