Ground Support System
The Ground Support System ( GSS ) is a logistic computer system for the operational management of the Eurofighter . It consists of the systems:
- Engineering Support System (ESS)
- Mission Support System (MSS)
- Ground loading and data transfer unit (GLU)
The system is being developed under the project responsibility of EADS - CASA , with other subcontractors such as BAE Systems , Alenia or Eurojet being commissioned for various subsystems .
Within the Bundeswehr, the Air Force Weapons System Command is responsible for the GSS.
