Dingxiang Guanwang Temple

The Guanwang Temple of Dingxiang ( Chinese  定襄 关 王庙 , Pinyin Dìngxiāng Guānwáng miào , English Guanwang Temple in Dingxiang ) is a temple dedicated to Guan Yu in Dingxiang County in the Chinese province of Shanxi . It dates from the Song Dynasty and has been repeatedly restored in later dynasties.

Qing-era murals depict scenes from the novel Tale of the Three Kingdoms ( Sanguo yanyi ).

The Guanwang Temple of Dingxiang ( Dingxiang Guanwang miao ) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-368) since 2006 .
