Guido Schuster
Guido Martin Schuster is professor for digital signal processing and digital image processing at the University of Technology ( HSR ) in Rapperswil, Switzerland .
After completing his apprenticeship as a radio TV electronics technician, he studied measurement and control technology at the new technology center in Buchs and graduated in 1990 as the best of his year. After completing his master's degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, USA and completing his doctorate , he worked for 3Com until 2000 , where he was named Inventor of the Year. Schuster currently holds over 60 US patents .
He is the father of three daughters.
