Gusty Bausch

Gusty Bausch (born February 25, 1980 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourg cyclocross and road cyclist.

In 1998 Gusty Bausch became the Luxembourg cyclocross champion in the junior class. In the 2001 season he became national champion of the U23 class and he won a race in Rumelange . The next year he defended his championship title and won the races in Tétange, Dommeldange and Bridel. In 2003 Bausch became national champion for the first time in the elite class. In the following years he became Luxembourg champions in 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2012. He has so far participated in 17 world championships in cyclocross. His best result was 9th place in the Débutants in Montreuil (F) 1996, 14th in the Espoirs 1999 in Poprad (SV) and 28th in Zeedam (NL) in 2006 in the Elite. He also won a bronze medal at the 2012 Games of the Small States of Europe in Liechtenstein in the mountain bike race.
