Guy III. de Lévis

Guy III. de Lévis (German: Guido ; † 1299 ) was a French knight and lord of Mirepoix . He was a son of Guy II. De Lévis, lord of Mirepoix. In the chronicles he is mostly called Maréchal de Mirepoix .

With his uncle, Philippe de Montfort , he accompanied Karl von Anjou to Italy and fought for him in the battle of Benevento in 1266 against the Hohenstaufen Manfred . In 1270 he took part in the Seventh Crusade .

He was married to Isabella, a daughter of Bouchard II. De Marly from the House of Montmorency . Her children were among others:

  • Jeanne de Lévis; ∞ with Mathieu IV. De Montmorency († 1305)
  • Jean I. de Lévis († February 21, 1319), Lord of Mirepoix
  • Gaston de Lévis
  • Pierre de Lévis († 1334), Bishop of Maguelone, Cambrai and Bayeux
  • Philippe de Lévis († 1304), Lord of Florensac and Lévis, Vice-Count of Lautrec
