Rectus gyrus

The rectus gyrus is a turn ( gyrus ) of the cerebral cortex , more precisely the frontal lobe , and is located in both halves of the cerebrum, medial to the orbital part of the inferior frontal gyrus and lateral to the cerebral longitudinal fissure (longitudinal gap between the cerebral hemispheres).

A specific function of the gyrus has not yet been described.
