Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik GmbH and its affiliated companies have been part of HCL Technologies since October 2018 . The IT and engineering service provider with headquarters in Wolfsburg has been successful on the market since 1996.
The offer ranges from IT consulting to server, infrastructure and workplace management, offshore enabling, shop floor IT and Industry 4.0 expertise to SAP, CAx and engineering services as well as own, customer-specific product developments. The company operates in the automotive / manufacturing, banking / insurance, public administration, health care, energy supply and telecommunications sectors. The main target group are large medium-sized companies and large companies .
history
In 1996 Bernhard and Anita Hönigsberg founded the Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik GbR together with Oliver Düvel in Wolfsburg and offered training courses in Microsoft software. In 1998 the company changed its name to today's Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik GmbH , which now has several subsidiaries . IT services, which now account for the largest share of sales, were added to the training courses. The highest increase in employees occurred between 2006 and 2008, when the number doubled to 1,000. Due to the increasing internationalization of the business, Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik GmbH and its affiliated companies have been operating under the current name of H & D International Group since 2009 .
In June 2018 it was announced that the IT service company HCL Technologies is taking over the H&D International Group.
In October 2018, the brand logo "H&D International Group" was replaced by the new brand logo "H&D - An HCL Technologies Company".
Societies
H & D IT Automotive Services GmbH is the largest subsidiary of H & D and thus represents the core business.
H&D IT Professional Services GmbH transports the range of H&D services built up in the Volkswagen environment to new target groups, industries and regions. The H & D IT Professional Services GmbH is therefore closely interrelated with the other areas of the company as a whole.
Software projects for business process support are developed and operated at product level. As an extension of the range of services, engineering services, the technical services in the automotive sector, also belong to H & D IT Solutions GmbH.
H & D Training und Consulting GmbH was founded in 2011 and bundles all CAx and engineering topics across industries.
H & D International GmbH was founded in spring 2008 and takes care of the development of the foreign companies.
Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik Czech sro was founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of H & D. H & D Czech s. r. o. mainly provides PC and server support, KPDM training, database support and software development within the Czech Republic.
The Hönigsberg & Düvel Corporation is an independent company based in the USA and was founded in 2010.
activity
H & D is a partner of various software manufacturers and technology companies, but advises independently of the manufacturer. It mainly provides IT services in the areas of managed services ( servers , clients and applications ), software development, IT infrastructure and developments for SAP . In addition, there are purely engineering services, IT and non-IT training courses as well as management services for the personal and organizational support of projects. The service desk projects look after up to 60,000 clients. In 2008, Hönigsberg & Düvel Datentechnik Czech s. r. o. the first international subsidiary founded in Mladá Boleslav . Mainly development services are performed at this location. Further foreign companies are being planned to work there in the field of automobile manufacturers and suppliers.
