Håkan Boström

Håkan Boström (* 1939 in Eskilstuna ) is a Swedish writer. He started working as a pastry chef in the mid-1950s, in 1962 he developed a cow's milk allergy and seven years later he had to give up the job because of it. In the 1970s, Boström studied, worked as a freelancer for various newspapers and published his first book in 1972. In 1983 he was awarded the Literature Prize of the Swedish Workers' Education Association and in 1995 the Ivar Lo Prize .
