Solid stone

A hut stone is an artificially produced brick made of blast furnace slag and hydraulic binding agent . The designation and properties of metallurgical stones are regulated in DIN 398 .

In the production of metallurgical stone , granulated granulated blast furnace slag and hydraulic binders, usually lime or cement , are mixed and then pressed under high pressure to form stone blanks. The resulting stone blanks are then cured either in the air or under steam. In contrast to the production of clay bricks , there is no firing process.

Hut stones can be used for both interior and exterior masonry.
