HIGH-LEIT is the name of software for SCADA systems for the hybrid processing of process data and is designed as a network control system for applications in network control technology for energy and water supply, in the wastewater and environmental sectors as well as for industrial tasks.

HIGH-LEIT is used by transport network operators and distribution network operators as a central network management system. In municipal utilities in particular , the software is used as a so-called network system for several supply sectors. The name HIGH-LEIT is a registered trademark of IDS GmbH, a company of the VIVAVIS group of companies .

history

  • 1980 - first version under the name LS1000 with a semi-graphic user interface
  • 1985 - second version under the name LS2000 with first functions for power supply networks
  • 1989 - third version under the name LS3000 for large-scale applications in 32-bit technology with full graphics
  • 1995 - Renaming to IDS HIGH-LEIT and porting to Microsoft Windows and Solaris (operating system)
  • 2003 - Introduction of the so-called world view function with panning, scrolling and decluttering
  • 2013 - Integration of a network display based on geospatial data
  • 2015 - Integration of load management functions for the smart grid
