The HK Nik's Brih Riga was a Latvian ice hockey club from Riga , the three times in the 1990s Latvian championship won.

history

The club was founded in 1987 and played its home games in the Rīgas Sporta pils . From 1992 the club took part in the Latvian ice hockey league. He was able to win the Latvian championship three times and reach the runner-up twice. After the first championship, the club took part in the IIHF Federation Cup 1995/96 , where it took third place in group C.

In 2000 the club was dissolved, while at the same time two new ice hockey clubs were created in Riga - Juniors Riga and Vilki Riga . Most of the players from Nik's Brih switched to the latter.
