HMS Curacoa

Four ships of the Royal Navy were named HMS Curacoa :

  • HMS Curacoa (1809) - a 36-gun ship of the 5th rank, reduced to 24 guns in 1831 and demolished in 1849.
  • HMS Curacoa (1854) - a wooden screw frigate. Flagship of the Australian fleet during the New Zealand Wars (1860–1864). Demolished in 1869.
  • HMS Curacoa (1878) - a screw corvette. Sale in 1904.
  • HMS Curacoa (D41) - a C-class light cruiser. 1942 broke apart and sank amidships due to a collision with the RMS Queen Mary .
