- Royal Oak (ship, 1664) , 76-gun ship 2nd rank, burned in 1667 in the battle on the Medway
- Royal Oak (ship, 1674) , 3rd rank 70-gun ship, demolished in 1764
- HMS Royal Oak (1769) , 74-gun ship 3rd rank, from 1796 prison ship, renamed Assistance in 1805 , demolished in 1815
- HMS Royal Oak (1809) , 74-gun ship 3rd rank, port ship from 1825, demolished in 1850
- HMS Royal Oak (1862) , armored frigate, demolished in 1885
- HMS Royal Oak (1892) , Royal Sovereign class ship of the line , demolished in 1914
- HMS Royal Oak (08) , Revenge- class battleship , built in 1914, sunk in Scapa Flow in 1939
