HMS Vengeance

HMS Vengeance was the name of a total of eight ships in the British Royal Navy :

  • Vengeance (1758), a sixth rank frigate
  • Vengeance (1774), a third tier double decker
  • Vengeance (1793), was a cargo ship.
  • Vengeance (1800), was a fourth rank frigate that was captured by the French
  • Vengeance (1824), was a second tier triplane
  • Vengeance (1899), was a Canopus- class battleship
  • Vengeance (R71) , was a Colossus-class aircraft carrier . He served in the Australian Navy from 1952 to 1954 and was renamed Minas Gerais after being sold to Brazil in 1956 .
  • Vengeance (S31), launched in 1998, is a Vanguard-class nuclear submarine
