The HSG Verden-Aller is the host of several handball tournaments, such as B. the Aller-Weser-Cup, one of the largest grass handball tournaments in the Verden district.

A large part of the activities occurring in the association is taken over by voluntary youth trainers in self-organization.

The membership fees alone are not enough to finance the association, which is why sponsoring , a support association and other sources of funding are used.

Friends' association / sponsors / club of 100 friends

On May 29, 2013, the Friends of the HSG Verden-Aller e. V. founded. The chairman of the association is Yuri Volkov.

The HSG Verden-Aller receives support in many ways through large and small donations. The city's companies participate in the procurement of jerseys and training equipment or various services. The youth department is mainly supported by the members of the development association and their sponsors.

The association's task is to provide ideal and financial support for youth handball in Verden. In recent years, the youth work has been supported by funds from the friends' association. In addition, the sponsoring association participated in the design of the HSG youth Christmas tournament. In order to accelerate the activities mentioned and to create new activities, the development association is always looking for members whose active time as handball players does not have to end.

The development association is primarily intended to benefit youth work in the association. The donations are used as grants for sportswear / tournament trips, joint Christmas parties, to purchase training equipment, but also to train junior referees / trainers, as well as expense allowances for trainers.
