The Higher Technical College Perg (HTBLA Perg) is a federally run vocational college (BHS) in Perg , Upper Austria .
More than 40 teachers work at the school. Around 400 students are registered for the 2019/20 school year.
history
The HTL in Perg began teaching in 1999/2000 initially as a branch of the HTL Leonding with a focus on IT & organization. Lessons were held in a school building made of containers, which was expanded in 2005/2006 in order to bring together the classes that were outsourced to other schools. This was accomplished by the federal real estate company. Among other things, workshop lessons were held in the Perg Technology Center (TZ Perg).
The new school building was ready for occupancy in 2007. Since then, the school has been an independent institution and offers training opportunities in a 3½-year technical college (media technology and systems technology) and a 5-year branch (IT and business administration) with a Matura. The school is located in the school center of Perg. The HAK Perg, Polytechnische Schule Perg, the BORG Perg and the HLW Perg are also located in this school center . In 2019 it celebrated its 20th anniversary.
