Habibi
Habibi ( Arabic حبيبي, DMG Ḥabībī ) is an Arabic family name that can literally be translated as my lover . The form of the word that refers to a woman is also Ḥabībati with a short a, which is sometimes omitted in everyday language. Ḥabībāti with a long ā is said to several female lovers. It is derived from the adjective mahbub (loved). Habib means something like "beloved". Usually this expression is also used as a synonym for “friend” or “darling”.
