Hans Maierhofer
Johann Georg Maierhofer (* 1959 in Upper Palatinate) is a German author and calligrapher .
Life
Johann Maierhofer initially worked as an administrative specialist and after studying social work as a qualified social pedagogue . After studying with Werner Eikel and attending seminars at the Institute for Art Education at the University of Regensburg , he founded his own studio in Regensburg . Since then, numerous commissioned works have been created, such as the calligraphic design of a meditation labyrinth in Spindlhof Castle , the facade design of the Künstlerhaus in Kallmünz and the preparation of the honorary citizenship certificate of the city of Regensburg for Pope Benedict XVI.
In the 1990s Johann Maierhofer published short stories in various newspapers.
