Haide to Koenigsheim

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The von der Haide , also von der Hayd (t) or von der Heydt , were a family of knights and servants based in Königheim . They belonged to the knight canton Odenwald of the Franconian knight circle .

history

The first historically tangible name bearer was Hans Bruno (Braun) von der Haydt. On October 17, 1556 he married Apollonia, the daughter of Anton (Anthony) von Heddersdorf , who was also resident in Königheim . The Limpurg taverns enfeoffed him in 1574 after the death of his brothers-in-law Friedrich and Joachim von Heddersdorf with their fiefdom, which was drawn in in 1562.

The last male bearer of the name was Hans Christoph von der Haydt. After his death (probably in 1675), his sister Anna Maria, the wife of Wolf Albrecht Rüdt von Collenberg , was allowed to use the limpurgic and count local fiefs.

coat of arms

The coat of arms of the von der Haydt was black at the top and red at the bottom, separated by a silver crossbar.
