Hakaniemi
Hakaniemi ( Swedish. Hagnäs ) is a common, albeit unofficial name for part of the Kallio district in Helsinki . Hakaniemi starts just across the Pitkäsilta bridge, just outside the city center.
Famous sights of Hakaniemi are the market square ( Hakaniemen tori ) and the Hakaniemen kauppahalli shopping mall . The Helsinki City Theater ( Helsingin Kaupunginteatteri ) is also located in Hakaniemi, as is the so-called “round house” ( Ympyrätalo ) because of its architecture .
Hakaniemi has good public transport connections by bus, tram and metro .
