The Hakaniemen Kauppahalli is a historic market and department store in Hakaniemi in the Kallio district of the Finnish capital Helsinki .

The market hall was planned by the Finnish architect Einar Flinckenberg and built by Karl Hård af Segerstadin from 1912. On June 1, 1914, the Hakaniemen Kauppahalli was opened.

When it opened, the two-story building with cellar and ancillary building housed 11 fish and 114 grocery stores with meat, cheese and baked goods dealers on the ground floor. On the upper floor there are more than 100 retail stores with fabric, leather and housewares as well as restaurants. On the occasion of the - planned - Summer Olympics in 1940 , new sanitary facilities were installed in the department store.

The listed hall was renovated for the first time in 1956. In 1971 the building was closed for ten months due to extensive renovations and renovations. The department store has been open every weekday since December 1, 1971.
