Hand samples

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A hand sample is a individually hand-made prototype that is made available to an interested party. He can use the sample to check the function and express requests for changes.

In the development of packaging such a pattern is created usually free. At (specialist) trade fairs , they are often presented to the middlemen or end customers, who then place their orders. The manual samples often created in model making are worth significantly more than the series models due to their manual production and optimization.

Nowadays, hand samples are designed with a CAD system and made with a plotter from the original material.
