Hanga is the Ghanaian language of the Hanga ethnic group and is spoken by only 6,800 (2003) people.

Of these, only 4,100 speakers live in the traditional region, the rest live across the country. Mainly found in central northern Ghana, southeast of Mole National Park in the Damongo District . The largest village is called Murugu.

An alternative name is Anga. North Hanga and South Hanga are recognized as dialects. Kamara is a language of its own. Sub-dialects of the South Hanga are Langantere, Murugu, Damongo; Yazori and Bowena are sub-dialects of the North Hanga. Hanga is 84% ​​in agreement with Dagaare and Farefare .
