Hangover - The Tower is a gyro-drop tower by Ewald Schneider Jr., which premiered on July 17, 2015 in Düsseldorf. It is currently the tallest transportable free fall tower in the world.

background

Hangover - The Tower is 85 meters high and has a drop height of approx. 85 meters, currently the highest transportable gyro drop tower in the world. It has a rotatable gondola, which can be set in rotation when pulled up and stopped at various points. The falling speed is 25 m / s. An additional driving effect is that the passenger is provoked from behind with a kind of hydraulic pen. This is still unique in the world today.

It was conceived and designed by Schneider + Co from Munich. The Swiss manufacturer ABC Rides handed the order over to the Funtime Group , based in Tyrol, due to numerous manufacturing problems , which delivered the tower with a planned original height of 100 meters as an 85-meter tower in 2015. It had its premiere on July 17, 2015 at the Rheinkirmes in Düsseldorf. There it faced a direct comparison with its predecessor, the Power Tower 2 , which is sold by the same company. This was marketed by the Schneider company as "tower warfare". Ewald Schneider junior is the sole managing director of the Hangover - The Tower.
