Hank Petrusma

Hendrick "Hank" Petrusma (born December 26, 1942 in the Netherlands ) is an Australian politician .

Life

Petrusma was elected to the Legislative Council , the upper house of the Tasmanian Parliament , as an independent candidate in the Hobart constituency in 1982 and was a member of this from May 22, 1982. He was re-elected unopposed in the 1988 elections. In January 1992 he stepped down to run for the House of Assembly , the lower house of the Tasmanian parliament. However, Petrusma did not succeed in gaining a mandate.

The Australian politician Jacquie Petrusma is married to his nephew.
