The Hannoversche Tagesnachrichten , also Hannoversche Tages-Nachrichten , appeared as the successor to the Bürgerzeitung from March 1, 1899 to March 31, 1913. The newspaper's subtitle was "Official organ of the conservative parties / General-Anzeiger for the province of Hanover and the neighboring areas".

The seat of the editorial office was in Hanover, the distribution area was the province of Hanover . The newspaper appeared twelve times a week, and it delivered the “Niederdeutsche Blätter” as an external, regular supplement. It was published in Hanover by the Friedrich Diers publishing house and was printed in the Göhmann printing house. It appeared in the format 48.5 × 35 cm. The responsible editor was FW Kortüm, the local editorial office in Hanover was headed by AH Petzold.

It was a conservative newspaper that spread German conservative positions, especially during election campaigns , and mainly took a stand against the Social Democrats and the Center Party . The editor was Max Hebel . He was also the first full-time party secretary of the German Conservative Party in the province of Hanover.

The successor was the Hannoversche Zeitung , which appeared from 1912 to 1921.
