Hans Bermühler was a German soccer player and briefly president of FC Bayern Munich in 1916 .

Career

Bermühler, son of Eduard Bermühler sen. - a sponsor of FC Bayern Munich - has been a member of the club since April 1, 1900 and has performed several functions in the course of his membership.

After he was promoted to the first team in 1901, he played compulsory and friendly games for them until 1914. He belonged u. a. that team that was able to wrest a goalless draw on May 17, 1905 from the then overpowering Karlsruher FV .

Integrated into the management of the association in 1915, he rendered outstanding services to it. In 1916 he took over the chairmanship of the club and played first as a goalkeeper , then later as a defender in the team of the old men.

In the general meeting held on December 17, 1916, which had to be continued on January 5, 1917, Bermühler was elected as an assessor of the board and the sports committee.

At the general meeting held on March 16, 1918, Bermühler was elected as an assessor of the club's management and confirmed in the sports committee, of which he was a member until 1925.

In 1937 he was removed from the membership list due to his Jewish origin. In 1950 he therefore turned down an invitation to the 50th anniversary of the association. In 1953, Bermühler was again accepted as a member with the stamp free of charge and the additional note "Membership is not considered to be interrupted."

Honors

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of FC Bayern Munich, Bermühler was honored with the golden jubilee badge.
