Hans Jörg Furrer , born in the 20th century, is a former German cyclist .

Career

The visually impaired Hans Jörg Furrer from Reute took part in the 1992 Paralympic Summer Games with the national disabled cycling team. At these games he was Olympic champion in tandem with his fellow cyclist Frank Höfle .

He was also successful in the team of four over 60 km with Furrer, Frank Höfle, Friedhelm Welz and Manfred Fischer: his team won the bronze medal.

For winning a medal at the Paralympic Summer Games in 1992, Furrer and his team were awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf .
