Hans Vollmann

Hans Vollmann (born April 30, 1909 in Knittelfeld ; † July 20, 1994 in Graz ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). From 1949 to 1971 he was a member of the Austrian National Council .

After elementary school, Vollmann attended the community school and the trade school, where he learned the trade of fitter and lathe operator. From 1930 he was employed by a social insurance institution and was then director of the agricultural health insurance fund of Styria. Most recently he was the director of the Styrian regional office of the agricultural and forestry social insurance institute. Vollmann was politically active as deputy regional group chairman of ÖAAB Styria, he was also city group chairman of ÖAAB Graz and main district group chairman of ÖAAB Graz-Umgebung. He represented the ÖVP between 1945 and 1949 in the Styrian state parliament and was a member of the National Council from November 8, 1949 to November 4, 1971.
