Hanter-dro

A hanter dro ( bret: half turn ) is a Breton folk dance. It is in 4/4 or 2/4 time, but it is also often written in 3/4 or 3/8 time. The Hanter-dro developed from the Branle the Renaissance . This dance went out of fashion in the 19th century and was increasingly being replaced by the laridé among young people , which had developed during the second half of the 19th century.
