Hartwig Henze

Hartwig Henze (born January 19, 1938 in Zeitz ) is a German lawyer. From 1986 to 2003 he was a judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

After completing his legal training, Henze first settled as a lawyer in 1967 , but joined the judicial service of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1969 , where he worked in various judicial positions until 1986, most recently as presiding judge at the Hamm Higher Regional Court .

During his work at the Federal Court of Justice, Henze was a permanent member of the Second Civil Senate, which is mainly responsible for corporate law.

Henze's scientific interest also belonged to corporate law, who contributed to the major commentary on the Stock Corporation Act, and was also appointed co-editor of renowned journals, in particular the journal for all commercial and economic law. Henze is a member of the successful gymnastics club Asciburgia zu Würzburg .
