Main dates of life

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The main life data of a person with a known first name and surname are the three details to be determined from church records or civil status registers for the place and time of birth (or baptism), marriage and death (or burial) for each person (known by name). They form the framework for every ancestral list or genealogical table.

A modern genealogy cannot be satisfied with these cemetery data and requires, for example, additional information about occupation , status or property in an ancestral list .
