The House In-Albon is a listed building in the Gräfibielgasse 6 in Visp in the Swiss canton of Valais . It was built in the 16th century by Governor Simon In-Albon on the Visper castle hill. It is a Gothic style castle complex connected by a small bridge .
history
The vice governor and member of the council of tenders and knight of the golden spur Adrian In-Albon had the castle complex enlarged as a gift for his wife Katharina. The house was owned by the In-Albon family until around 1855 . The castle complex was sold by the In-Albon family around 1960 to a private buyer who rebuilt the inside of the house. In 2001 it was placed under monument protection. It is advertised as a sight in Visp.
