Heckefransous
As a "hedge Fran Sous" in are Luxembourg residents on the French-Luxembourg border in Lorraine called. They speak a more broken French . Hedge can mean both a hedge made of bushes, etc., as well as being used in the real sense to denote the local origin .
Emergence
Legend has it that the term originated in 1643 during the siege of Thionville .
