Hedwig von Bibow
Hedwig von Bibow (before 1898 in Gresen - after 1904) was a German opera singer ( mezzo-soprano ).
Life
The daughter of a tax auditor and retired captain received her training from Paul Stern and Marie von Höfler . After two winters as a concert singer, she was engaged at the Royal Opera House in 1900, where she made her debut as "Piep-Bo" in Der Mikado .
In 1904 she played "Siegrune" in Die Walküre in Bayreuth .
