The Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit (Polish Kościół św. Ducha ) in Warsaw is a Catholic Paulan Church in Warsaw's New Town .

history

The church was donated in 1388 by Janusz I the Elder in Gothic style and taken over by the Paulans in the 17th century . The church was rebuilt from 1699-1717 in the late Baroque style by Simone Giuseppe Belotti and Giuseppe Piola . In the Warsaw Uprising by the Wehrmacht initially burned down and later destroyed by blowing up the church after the war, was rebuilt.

Geographical location

The church is located in Warsaw's New Town on Długa Street ("Long Street") , which leads to Freta Street .
