Heinrich Scholing (also Heiner Scholing ) (born September 16, 1953 in Dortmund ) is a German politician (Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen). From 2013 to 2017 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Live and act

After graduating from high school in 1973, Scholing studied special education at the University of Marburg . He passed the first state examination in 1978 and the second in 1981. From 1981 he worked at various schools and from 1985 as a special school teacher. From 1995 until his election to the state parliament, he headed the special school at Knieberg in Lüneburg .

Heinrich Scholing has been a member of the Greens since 1983 and a member of the Bienenbüttel municipal council since 2011 . In 2013 he was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament. There he is a member of the agriculture and culture committees and spokesman for the Greens parliamentary group for animal welfare, religious policy and memorials. From 2015 Scholing has been the spokesman for school policy for the Green Parliamentary Group and from 2015 to 2017 he is the chairman of the cultural committee of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

At the end of the 17th legislative period, Scholing left the state parliament.

Since September 2016, Scholing has been a member of the municipal council of the Bienenbüttel community and the district council of the Uelzen district. Since March 2018 he has been one of the two spokespersons for the Uelzen Green District Association. In October 2018, Scholing was elected as an assessor in the state board of the Lower Saxony Greens.

Scholing is married, has two children and lives in Bienenbüttel.
