Heinz Günter Holtappels

Heinz Günter Holtappels (* 1954 ) is a German scientist in the field of school and school development research and a university professor for educational science with a focus on education management and evaluation.

Education

From 1975 to 1980 he studied social sciences at the University of Wuppertal . He wrote his doctorate in 1987 in social sciences on the topic: "Student problems and deviant behavior from the student's perspective", followed by his habilitation in 1994 on the topic: "All-day school and school opening - perspectives for school development". In 1996 he was a cooperating member of the IGLU consortium.

Scientific activity

  • Knowledge Employee in research and teaching at the mountain. University of GHS Wuppertal (1980–1984), University of Dortmund / IFS (1984–1992), University of Bielefeld (1995–1996); as a part-time teacher in advanced training for teachers (1981–1992)
  • Substitute professorships at the Universities of Essen (1993–1994) and Osnabrück (1994–1995), private lecturer at the University of Dortmund (1994–1996)
  • University professor for school pedagogy, focus on primary school in research and teaching, at the University of Vechta , Institute for Educational Science (1996–2001); since March 1, 2001 at the IFS of the University of Dortmund.
