Heinz Ross is a former German basketball player . He was twice German champion with MTV Giessen .
career
Ross first played handball and then basketball at VfB 1900 Giessen . The 1.77 meter tall, from Wroclaw player , moved to MTV Gießen , with whom he became German champions in 1965 and 1967. After the championship title in 1967, he ended his competitive sports career. In the 1965 championship final against Osnabrück, he played a decisive role in the final phase by hitting a free throw.
Professionally, he worked as an engineer for high frequency and communications technology.
