Hengam ( Persian جزیره هنگام) is an Iranian island in the Persian Gulf , 2 km south of the island of Qeschm . Hengam has an area of ​​36.6 km², is mainly calcareous and deep-lying. The highest point on the island is the Nakas mountain at around 106 meters.

The main economic activity is fishing, although there is also tourism and sightseeing on the island. The main attractions are the English port buildings and the coal storage. Wrecks of Portuguese ships can be viewed along the island. Aquatic animals such as turtles , dolphins , corals and sharks can be seen from the beach .
